Giving Tuesday Proceeds Used to Purchase Devices for People Receiving Supports!
Our 2021 Giving Tuesday Campaign was a huge success, raising $10,653! Proceeds from our Giving Tuesday campaign were used to purchase iPads, tablets, a smart watch, headphones and a speaker for people with an intellectual disability receiving supports from Community Living Essex County. This technology will help people receiving supports from Community Living Essex County stay connected to loved ones and participate in virtual supports.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Giving Tuesday campaign and a HUGE thanks to Libro Credit Union for matching all donations.

Ensemble: A Resource for Families
Ensemble is a parent-directed resource for families caring for a child with a disability that provides support from birth through adulthood. The name, Ensemble, is French for “together” and was chosen for the strength and resiliency found in the connections built between families and within the community.
Ensemble inspires possibilities for children by promoting family leadership so that families thrive and become active members in the community.
Ensemble was founded in 2000 by two moms whose lives have been affected by their children’s diagnosis of a disability. These moms understood the importance of connecting to others as the first step in helping families cope with the challenges of raising a child with a disability.

Spectrum Works Virtual Career Fair 2022
Spectrum Works looks to connect job seekers with autism to some of Canada's top employers. They are hosting national and local businesses actively looking to hire and fill positions within their organization.
This event unites the autism community virtually, bringing together service providers and employers to showcase their services to the attendees. Their hope is to connect attendees who have not discovered these organizations and their benefits. They are hosting this event on a national level for the second year!
Due to last year's success, Spectrum Works has continued the online event allowing people seeking employment through a virtual network. They aim to continue breaking down the stigmas associated with autistic employees in the workplace.
This event is brought to you by Substance Cares, Autism Speaks Canada and Chamber of Commerce Canada.
April 8th, 12:00 - 5:00 pm.
