SEEN AROUND CHURCH THIS WEEK

Brightmore.jpg

We are so blessed to be back out in the community spreading the Word through scripture and music!

Lindsey Odom and Zach Bowyer visited Brightmore residents Wednesday afternoon for worship and music. Lindsey read John 17:20-26 and preached a beautiful sermon on unity.

“We didn’t know that piano could sound so good!” said one Brightmore participant after the service. (The instrumental prelude of “Jesus Loves Me” got a big round of applause!)

Shelter MInistry 6.9.jpg

Last Thursday morning, the Shelter Ministry filled 648 prescription vials of body wash for Roof Above in just over an hour!

Among the participants was the Tyler family: Ray, Bob and Emily (a rising freshman at Ardrey Kell High School). The next scheduled work day is July 14. The ministry is always in need of product (body wash especially) and shoe boxes or assorted boxes of the same approximate depth.

Contact Carol Morgan for more information. All are welcome!

Summer Selfies Wanted – If your summer plans take your family to new (or familiar and much-loved!) destinations, send us a picture of yourselves wherever – or however – you worship. Whether it’s a family photo in front of St. Paul’s in London or a photo of you livestreaming SMPC in a beach chair on the coast of Carolina, we want to see where you worship this summer!

Please send photos and details to Cheryl Perry. By submitting a photo, you agree to allow SMPC to use the photo in our weekly email.
