St. Peter’s Church will begin its anticipated steeple construction and installation project on Tuesday, October 20, at 7 a.m., with work expected to conclude Monday, October 26, around 3 p.m.

During this time, parking and building access will be temporarily affected. The church driveway (off Easton Road) will be closed for the duration of the project. All vehicle traffic will be directed to enter and exit using Pleasant Ave. See parking map HERE. Please enter from Easton Road and exit toward Jenkintown Road. We will close one side of the parking lot (the side closest to the driveway) to allow two lanes of traffic to flow.

Please follow posted signs and directions from church staff and volunteers. Allow extra time for arrival and departure, and use alternate building entrances.

Please note: All church buildings and grounds will be closed on Saturday, October 24, for the steeple installation.

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and cooperation as we complete this important project and maintain a safe environment for our parish community.

Volunteers Needed to Guide Parking Lot Traffic on October 20 & 21 During Steeple Construction 

We are looking for two volunteers in one-hour shifts to help guide traffic and drop-off circulation for the Kid View Preschool drop-off and pickup on Tuesday, October 20, and Wednesday, October 21, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. These are the first two days of this seven-day steeple construction project.

The following times will be high traffic and congested; we are asking all those who use the space to avoid these peak times, if possible.

Preschool Morning Drop-off: Arrive at 8:50 a.m.; depart at 9:30 a.m. 

12 p.m. Preschool Pickup: Arrive at 11:50 am and depart at 12:20 pm

3 p.m. Preschool Pickup: Arrive at 2:50 pm and depart at 3:20 pm

4 p.m. Preschool Pickup: Arrive at 3:50 p.m. and depart at 4:20 pm

All those who need to access our space from Tuesday to Monday are asked to follow all posted traffic signage to ensure safety.

Tuesday, Oct. 21- Friday, Oct. 23 & Monday, Oct. 26:

Food cupboard and Community Fridge volunteers and recipients will be able to use the areas as usual, except for Saturday, when access to the buildings and grounds is prohibited.

Tuesday, Oct. 20: LIFT: Reading and Reflection Group at 10 a.m.-CANCELED

Tuesday, Oct. 20: Sandwich making at 12:30 p.m.-CANCELED

Wednesday, Oct. 21: Lunch Club at 11 a.m.-CANCELED

Wednesday, Oct. 21: Holy Eucharist and Healing Service will run as usual. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Tuesday, Oct. 20, and Thursday, Oct. 22: Rooted Tree rehearsal will run as usual from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m., except for Saturday morning class, when access to the buildings and grounds is prohibited.



Tuesday, Oct. 21- Friday, Oct. 23 & Monday, Oct. 26:

Weekly Support Groups will operate as usual, except for the Saturday morning AA meeting, which is CANCELED.
