Teaspoon Tips

For Spring Cleaning

This Week's Tip: Your Fridge

No one sees its contents except you and those you live with. You could liken it to a closet. But, what’s inside? When was the last time you actually assessed its complete contents? Maybe this is the moment of truth….ta, da!

Before sharing today’s spring-cleaning tip, you might be interested to know the refrigerator’s spiritual meanings:

1. Preservation: Keeping things safe, divine provision

2. Nourishment: Spiritual/emotional substance, self-care

3. Abundance: Blessings, security, gratitude

4. Emotional State: Stability, detachment

5. Resilience: Endurance, ability to overcome adversity

6. Dreams: Self-preservation of goals, hidden emotions.

In short, the refrigerator is a powerful symbol of how we preserve, nourish and protect what is valuable in our lives. Thank you, Perplexity.com. Who knew?

If you are ready to address this sacred appliance, here are a few guiding steps:

1.  Remove all the food

2.  Dispose of all spoiled and/or expired items

3.  Clean all the shelves, drawers, and compartments

so they sparkle

4.  When ready, replace like foods together (e.g., fruits,

vegetables, dairy)

5.   Note what needs replenishing, keeping it fresh and

minimal.

This is an easy task, my friends. You could do this in a couple hours or an afternoon at most. You owe it to yourself to preserve, nourish and protect your sweet self. Now purge and clean!
