Once again, my friends, we're talking energy.
If you were to peer into your closet for more than a minute, I bet you would agree with me that a lot of those clothes you haven't worn in the past year, or, do I dare say, two or three years.
If you are up to it...
- Take all your clothes out of the closet.
- Get clear on your criteria for keeping: color, texture, material, style, fit.
- Separate them into two piles: those you absolutely love (which will probably be about 20 percent) and those just taking up space.
Rule 1: Clothes that no longer fit, OUT!
Rule 2: Clothes that don't feel right, like color, size, style, OUT!
Rule 3: Clothes you haven't worn in 2-3 years, OUT!
Interesting Tidbit, aka My Tip:
Clothes you're hoping to fit into when you lose weight, OUT!
Get rid of those clothes! Open up the space!
Then buy clothes that "make you look and feel really good exactly as you are now."
As my guru Karen Kingston says, "What you resist will persist."
When you stop resisting being fat (or having a few extra pounds), the weight will slip off in the dark of night!
Why? Because you will feel great, and as a result, your resistance has been tossed out the window!
P.S. And just because an item that fits the "toss" category cost you a lot of money is no reason to keep it!
