Last year's Easter Egg Hunt was a smashing success! Please help the Children's Ministry Team to host yet another "egg-citing" event this Easter. You can help by donating pre-stuffed Easter eggs. Easter eggs of all sizes and colors can be filled with candy, stickers, tattoos, and little trinkets. Donations will be collected in labeled bins outside the sanctuary until Palm Sunday, 3/24. No time to stuff eggs? Bring in plastic eggs, candy, or both, and the Children's Ministry Team will do the rest. The earlier you can bring in your donations the better. Thank you in advance for your support!

Important Update for LLGD
Thanks to the continuous pledges from our faith communities, including Trinity, corporate grants and generous individual donations, LLGD is in a strong financial position. Based upon this status, the membership recently voted to increase the number of laundry cards available per month to 300. Additionally, we are increasing the value of each card from $10.00 to $13.00. This will enable our clients to use larger machines for their linens and bedding. Remember, LLGD only pays for redeemed cards.
While this is great news, we still need additional volunteers to work at our monthly on-site event. We hold this event the second Wednesday of every month at White’s Wash
in Danbury.
Here’s how it works:
We work as a two person team for one hour (hours are 10:00-4:00). Set up outdoors,
we pass out laundry cards and detergent sheets. At no time do we do our clients laundry. We hold the on-site event only for individuals who bring their wash with them.
Should you wish to volunteer, please contact Carol Bigman. For your first time, either Nancy Cole or Carol will accompany you so you can see how it all works. It’s an easy gig but so vital to the underserved in Danbury.

In this season of Lent, we have some opportunities for musical worship and reflection that I want to share with you. Tonight (Thursday), be sure to join the Holy Eucharist and Healing Prayer Service at 6pm in the sanctuary. This service (also repeated on March 14) will provide a mid-week opportunity for you to receive communion, and there will be reflective and prayerful music. For those of you who love Taizé, there will be a little of that too! Come to receive, meditate, and refresh as you continue your Lenten journey.
The choir is hard at work preparing for Holy Week and Easter, and it’s not too late for you to join us if you’d like to be a part of the choir, if only just for that special week. Would you like to join us in singing some big and joyful resurrection anthems and hymns in the loft Easter morning? Drop me a note [email protected] or just show up for choir rehearsal on a Thursday evening at 7pm. At this time of year, I refer to our choir room as the “Alleluia Speakeasy”, where Alleluia’s are allowed for the sake of rehearsal. If you need an Alleluia fix, choir is the place to be!
I pray that your Lenten season has been meaningful thus far, and that your worship will fortify you as we anticipate the miracle to come.

Baptism Gift Making Event
Trinity Church School families are invited to make baptism gifts this Sunday, 3/3, after worship in the Glover Community Room. Together with Trinity's youth, we will make sets of prayer beads that will be gifted in the future to families on the day of their child's baptism. These keepsakes are a loving way for children to welcome other children to Trinity church. All are welcome.

This Sunday in church school we start our rotation learning about Holy Week. Kids will have science, cooking, music, and Bible games workshops leading up to Easter Sunday. Please note there is no church school on Easter Sunday. Instead, we will hold an Easter Egg Hunt after worship. We hope you can be with us for this fun event!

Lenten Passport
Our Lenten Passport competition continues! Throughout the season of Lent kids can earn stickers to put in their passports by attending church school, doing labyrinths, bringing in items for Trinity's Little Pantry, learning the Lord's Prayer, and much more. If they get 12 stickers they earn a prize. The church school student with the most stickers wins an extra prize! Ask your child how he/she/they can earn more stickers.

Rev. David Artman is a minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Members of that denomination are expected to actively work out their theology through personal study and community worship. If that feels familiar, consider joining Cindy Anderau, Lisa Mages, Tom McMorran, and Pastor Andrea for a March Discussion series on Artman's book Grace Saves All: The Necessity of Christian Universalism. We will meet in the library on March 3, 10, and 17th from 3:00 to 4:00. In the introduction to his book, Artman writes, "...most people don't know it's possible to be a Chrisitan and to believe grace is God's way of ultimately saving everyone. They don't know where to find biblical evidence for this understanding of grace. They don't know this way of understanding grace was common in early Christianity. They wrongly assume they can only be Christian if they believe God will not, or might not, save everyone." Artman's book challenges the idea of any person being abandoned by God. If you are intrigued by the idea that our God's loving grace will never give up until all are united to God, please join us. Books are available via Amazon, and you might want to check out some of Artman's podcasts. As always you are most welcome to join the conversation even if you haven't read the book. Christian Yoga
Join Christian Yoga class on alternating Tuesdays at 7 pm for an hour of movement incorporating prayer and scripture. This is a great way to connect to yourself, with others and with God. The next sessions will be held on 3/12 and 4/9. All are welcome!
