United Way Wednesday
September 11th is Patriot Day and the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. On this day, Americans across the country are called to volunteer in their local communities in tribute to the individuals lost and injured in the attacks, first responders, and the many who have risen in service to defend freedom.

Projects are planned across the country in communities large and small. There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities such as blood drives, meal packing, and cleanup projects.

United Way of Clark, Champaign and Madison Counties’ Volunteers United is an initiative to connect passionate volunteers in each of our three counties to fulfill the needs of local nonprofits. Whether you are looking to continually volunteer at a location or if you would like to serve on a single occasion, Volunteers United can connect you.
To find a volunteer opportunity you can get involved with, or if you have a volunteer project that is in need of volunteers please visit: Volunteers United .
