Well FLASHERS...I'm not sure what I am feeling this Thursday. We certainly dodged Dorian...For that I am quite grateful as I know you are as well. On the other hand I am numb from the devastation left in its wake and cannot imagine what our Bahamian neighbors had to endure! My prayer is that relief will be plentiful,
efficient and quicker than it has ever before been delivered!
Life can change on a dime, FLASHERS! What we know is that we are all really and truly on the same team and need to be there for one another in difficult times. I believe that is our chief and most honorable 'life mission' and what we are able and capable of doing...we should do...and do quickly!
We should also be reminded this week of the importance of our relationships with others. Reach out to family and friends that you may be in a stand-off with. Standing on opposite sides and holding your position makes no one a winner. How much more enjoyable our days can be without the stress and strife of an upended relationship hanging over us! Do yourself a favor and be bold and courageous enough to mend those bonds. There is no doubt you will end up the one on top.
This week's issue is truncated in light of what we have all been through this past week. The FLASH family also received some devastating news yesterday and it has required our attention. We hope to be back with a full issue next Thursday. Remember to count your blessings, be kind and help others!

Charity Watch announces a list of highly efficient and accountable charities involved in efforts to provide emergency relief and humanitarian assistance to Hurricane Dorian victims.
After striking the Bahamas as a Category 5 storm on Sunday, September 1st. Hurricane Dorian tied the record for the strongest Atlantic storm ever to hit land, matching a hurricane that struck the Florida Gulf Coast on Labor Day in 1935. If you are wanting to help with the relief effort, Charity Watch ranks non profits according to how much of your donation actually ends up in the hands of those you believe you are helping. Take a look at the list and feel free to make a donation to one or more of the high ranking relief efforts.

A GOOD TIME FOR DISNEY'S EPCOT!
It's a good month to visit Disney because it is the least populated month and it should be cooler than it is in Summer. This month Florida is filled with fall-themed festivals and special events at the popular theme parks.
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is at Disney's Epcot Center. It's a
celebration of the world's greatest foods and cuisines combined with continuous entertainment, seminars, and
|
food demos that run now through November 23rd. Meet celebrity chefs and noteworthy Disney culinary superstars and enjoy their creative cuisine.
Click Here for more info. It's a bit pricey, but looks like fun! You can also call 407-939-2743 for prices and reservations.
