A story of resilience and fortitude, Hidden Figures tells the story of these women who defied the odds and became the catalyst for helping NASA reach great heights in space.

Teens! Submit Your Photos for the May Photo Challenge
Our library is celebrating National Photography Month this May by inviting teens to share their best pictures with us over the next few weeks. Teens in grades 6th through 12th are welcome to send us pics each week staying within the theme of that week either via email at [email protected] or through our Remind app . Photos must be appropriate, containing no profanity or offensive language, and will be shared on our Instagram page crediting the photographer. Each Sunday, watch for a separate Instagram post strictly for voting on that week's photos. The results of Sunday's votes will be posted on our Instagram page on Monday, along with the next week's theme. There will be no prizes to be picked up for this contest, just bragging rights! The themes for the remaining weeks of the contest are:
  • May 22 is National Road Trip Day, so next week, send us a photo of SCENERY AND DESTINATIONS.
  • May 25 is Geek Pride Day, so during this final week of our photo contest, send us a your best pic displaying GEEK PRIDE.
