Join us on Mission to Maine!

July 19-25th

The mission trip to Rise Church in Portland is taking shape and it looks to be a meaningful and exciting time. The dates will be from July 19-25. Activities will include assisting with Vacation Bible School and while the kids are attending VBS there will be a parenting seminar equipping parents on discipleship of their children. In addition, we will be taking on a couple of carpentry projects that will increase seating capacity in the sanctuary and remove old siding from the walls. The congregation continues to grow and added seating will benefit all. Prayer walks are planned that will take place in and around the Portland area. Spiritual battle is intense in Maine and throughout all New England. Praying for the city can bring light into the darkness and open hearts and minds.

We will be joined by another group from Dan Wolf’s church in Jacksonville, FL. The prospects of joining together in prayer and fellowship are exciting. In addition, there will be time for sightseeing, hiking, walks along the coast and some of the best seafood around.

In order to finalize arrangements and planning, registration for the mission trip will close on Sunday May 18. For more information or questions, contact Mike Walker at (301) 938-8925 or by email at mdwalker86@hotmail.com

Next Praise & Healing Prayer Service is Friday, June 6th at 6:30 pm in the Belser Chapel. Come worship with us!

Sunday Parking Options Update

Please note that the parking garage located at 85 Queen Street, adjacent to the county courthouse, has implemented a change to its Sunday procedures. The new protocol for complimentary parking for Sunday worship attendees is as follows: upon entering the garage, please take a ticket. When exiting, drive to the gate, press the button to call the garage attendant at the gate and inform them that you have attended worship services at St. Michael's Church. The attendant will then lift the gate for you.
