UPDATE ON THE WEEKDAY PARKING POLICY

We are getting ready for our Fall programming to begin on September 3rd and that means that parking spaces in the Alley parking lot will be in high demand. We kindly ask that if you are planning on attending a Bible Study, church meeting or involved in any church activity Monday through Saturday that you prominently display a parking pass on your dashboard.

Please note that this requirement does not apply to parking on Sundays. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

To register for a parking pass, please click on the button below. You may choose to pick up your pass at the church office, or you can request that it be mailed to you.

All you need to know for worship this week can be found by clicking on the button below to visit our Worship Services Page.

You will also receive our usual Sunday morning livestream email which will now include all direct links to bulletins, handouts, and

Bethel Bible Series

"A picture is worth a thousand words." Beginning on September 10th we will offer this survey course of the Bible on Wednesday evenings. This course will be led by Charlie Baldwin, Chaplain (Maj. Gen.)USAF, Ret. and our Rector, Rev. Al Zadig, Jr.

Each lesson is a "picture" of the text. The first picture is "Genesis 1"; the second, "Genesis 2". Then, most pictures cover an entire book of the Bible, e.g., "Judges". In the series of twenty pictures, we will cover the Old Testament between September and March, 2026.

The book for the course costs $57.50 for a 3-ring binder, or you may "download" the lessons for $25.00. This will take you through the Old Testament in 20 lessons. The church is offering scholarships to help pay for the material.

Update on The 2025 Parish Retreat &

the New Wineskins Mission Conference

St. Michael's 275th Anniversary as a church is on the horizon! Due to a lack of rooms at Ridgecrest Conference Center during the New Wineskins Conference in September, it was decided by your Parish Retreat Planning Group to reschedule and reinvent this year's planned parish retreat. Instead of happening in 2025, the 2026 Parish Retreat will be THE HAPPENING THAT CELEBRATES ST. MICHAEL'S STORY, which is older than our beloved nation. The New Wineskins Conference will proceed in September and we encourage all to participate.

Please note that the parking garage located at 85 Queen Street, adjacent to the county courthouse, has implemented a change to its Sunday procedures. The new protocol for complimentary parking for Sunday worship attendees is as follows: upon entering the garage, please take a ticket. When exiting, drive to the gate, press the button to call the garage attendant at the gate and inform them that you have attended worship services at St. Michael's Church. The attendant will then lift the gate for you.
