WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Realm serves as our online church directory, and we ask for your help in updating and correcting any inaccuracies in our database. Our goal is to have the most updated and accurate information possible. Once we have updated the information we will be able to have printed copies available to those that request one.
Starting this Sunday, September 28th, printed sample copies of our current online directory will be available on tables in the Loggia. We encourage everyone to visit the tables, locate their profile, and verify that the information is correct. If you are unable to do this on Sunday, feel free to stop by the Belser Building at your convenience over the next couple of weeks. If all details are accurate, please initial beside your name. If corrections are necessary, kindly update the information and initial the changes. Questions? contact Kara at (843)723-0603.

| | Spotlight on the Hot Dog Ministry | |
In 2008 a group of students from College of Charleston saw that many hungry people needed food and bought them hot dogs. Some of the students were members of East Cooper Baptist Church and obtained that Church’s financial help as the numbers grew. The Hot Dog ministry generally expects to serve 60-70 people per week and our budget is $1,200. Since its formation it has continued its mission, inviting other Churches to help serve supper every Tuesday. SMC sends 8 volunteers every other month to Morris Brown AME Church to provide fried chicken, green beans and potato salad. East Cooper furnishes popsicles, iced tea, water, rolls, fruit and desserts. We arrive at 4:00 to set up and at 5:00 Lee Cox delivers a 5 minute Homily followed by Grace. Hungry people gather and are served; seconds follow and boxes are filled for late comers. We generally expect to serve 60-70 people.
