ST. MICHAELS

275th Anniversary/Birthday Celebration

and the final day of GIC

this Sunday,

February 8th

after the 11 am service in the Kinloch Room.

Did you know that on February 8th, 1751 the commissioners of Charles Town petitioned the governor’s council to create a second parish and erect another Anglican church to be called St. Michael’s and on Sunday, February 1st, 1761 the first worship service was held?

This Sunday, February 8th, we will have a special service to commemorate the commissioning of St. Michaels as the second parish in Charles Town. The clergy will wear vestments and wigs that were worn in 1751. We will, also, have a celebration for St. Michael's 275th birthday right after the 11 am service in the Kinloch Room.

For more information on St. Michael's 275th Anniversary Celebration and upcoming events, click the button below to visit the website page:

New Ladies Fellowship Opportunity!

Ladies, join in a new Bible Book Club that is sure to meet everyone's schedule! Read the book on your time, then join us at the end of each month for fellowship over dinner and discussion! Let's dig deeper in our love for His word, theology, His creation of music/poetry...and each other!

The monthly Book Club curriculum will include: one book of the Bible (or portions of scripture) one theological text, alternating between the ‘old’ and ‘new’ one work of poetry to annotate and meditate upon one classical piece of music that will expand both our intellect and our soul in connection with the material we are digesting.
