Please pray for those going on missions this coming week:

St. Michael's Mission Team going to Rise Church in Portland, Maine, July 19-25.

MISSIONS

Mission Team Members are:

Mike Walker, Shelley Walker, George Thompson, Dan Polon, Adam Polon, Tyson Nettles, and Mark DeCristoforo

The New England and Portland, Maine area is among the most spiritually dark areas in our country. Our purpose in the mission trip is to support Rise Church in its efforts to reach a large population of unchurched people in the Portland area. The Team will be joining with another group from Rev. Dan Wolf's sending church in Florida. They will be participating in prayer walks in various locations throughout the Portland area. In addition, they will focus on making improvements to the Sanctuary to accommodate the growing congregation, assist with Vacation Bible School that will include children who have never heard a Bible story and support a parenting group aimed to help parents disciple their children.

Super Wednesday - Fall 2025

We're excited to share our Fall 2025 Super Wednesday Lineup! We have a new Homeschool addition to our Super Wednesday schedule and we have some new evening classes as well. Please note that the Homeschool classes require a registration and so do some of the afternoon/evening classes. For more information about the Super Wednesday Schedule click the button below:

Bethel Bible Series

"A picture is worth a thousand words." Beginning on September 10th we will offer this survey course of the Bible on Wednesday evenings.  This course will be led by Charlie Baldwin, Chaplain (Maj. Gen.)USAF, Ret. and our Rector, Rev. Al Zadig, Jr.

Each lesson is a "picture" of the text. The first picture is "Genesis 1"; the second, "Genesis 2". Then, most pictures cover an entire book of the Bible, e.g., "Judges". In the series of twenty pictures, we will cover the Old Testament between September and March, 2026.

The book for the course costs $57.50 for a 3-ring binder, or you may "download" the lessons for $25.00. This will take you through the Old Testament in 20 lessons. The church is offering scholarships to help pay for the material.

Update on The 2025 Parish Retreat &

the New Wineskins Mission Conference

St. Michael's 275th Anniversary as a church is on the horizon! Due to a lack of rooms at Ridgecrest Conference Center during the New Wineskins Conference in September, it was decided by your Parish Retreat Planning Group to reschedule and reinvent this year's planned parish retreat. Instead of happening in 2025, the 2026 Parish Retreat will be THE HAPPENING THAT CELEBRATES ST. MICHAEL'S STORY, which is older than our beloved nation. The New Wineskins Conference will proceed in September and we encourage all to participate.

More on the 275th Anniversary St. Michael's Parish Retreat to come."

New Parking Policy for Weekday Parking

Please register for a parking pass if you attend Bible Studies or any other Ministry related meetings Monday - Saturday at the church. On June 16th, we started requiring all vehicles parked in the church parking lot to display parking passes. This decision comes in response to the increasing demand for parking space, which has impacted availability for clergy and staff and parishioners involved in church ministries

We kindly ask that everyone parking in the lot from Monday through Saturday prominently display a parking pass on their dashboard. Please note that this requirement does not apply to parking on Sundays. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

To register for a parking pass, please click on the button below. You may choose to pick up your pass at the church office, or you can request that it be mailed to you.

When exiting, drive to the gate, press the button to call the garage attendant at the gate and inform them that you have attended worship services at St. Michael's Church. The attendant will then lift the gate for you.
