RESCUE REVISITED

This week we look at God’s amazing rescue of Peter in Acts 12 and what it could mean for us today.

ALPHA LEADER INTEREST MEETING

Tuesday, November 15th at 6:30 pm

at the Peabody's House

We are looking at offering the Alpha Course at New Day again in January. Alpha is a great setting for people who are new to the faith or not sure about church. It’s intended to be a safe place to ask questions about God and form friendships over a meal. 

If you would like to hear more about being part of the team to help run Alpha, join us Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Peabodys.

Becky Downey

Nursery Worker

Becky and her husband Mike moved to the PNW 6 and a half years ago closer to their grandchildren. During the pandemic, they started attending New Day and fell in love with the community. One Sunday, Becky was talking to someone who said they needed help in the nursery so young couples could enjoy service.

While Becky's skills lie in public speaking and writing, she felt called to step out of her comfort zone and serve in an unexpected area--the nursery. She says "making a difference is about more than just your skill set, it’s about where God is moving and where you could be used."

JCREW AND GPS GAME NIGHT

Middle School and High School youth students are invited to a night of games, fun, and fellowship at the HUB with our new youth pastor. Feel free to wear a costume!

NEW DAY KIDS' FALL COLLABORATION MEETING

Saturday, November 19th

1:00-3:00 pm @ The HUB  

We are growing and re-building our Sunday School program from the ground up. Please plan on attending this short meeting if you find yourself in one of these categories.

1. You have been attending New Day and are the parent of a child who is in the nursery or up through 5th grade. 
2. You are or would like to be a Junior Helper (Middle and High School students) for the Children’s program. Your role in this ministry is crucial and we appreciate you!
3. You are an adult who would like to help support this ministry as a nursery worker, or Sunday School Teacher. (Thank you!)
4. You would like to listen-in and/or give input to help shape the future of this ministry.



Thank you so much for making the time to attend. We are sorry that we can’t offer childcare at this meeting, but we are excited to collaborate with you on this worthy effort!
