Dear Friends:
Just sending along some updates for this week . . .

ONLINE WORSHIP
Please (continue to) join us for Sunday Worship at 10am. You can participate at our Facebook page
HERE, and you can also find the live stream at the bottom of the front page of our website
HERE. In addition, starting this Sunday, you can also join us using your Roku, AppleTV, or Amazon Fire. Just add the Boxcast channel to your device, and then search for St. Timothy's Church.
For the month of May, we will be using Rite I in the prayer book. More information can be found
HERE.

CHAPEL UPDATE
If you've been keeping up with our services, you've hopefully noticed an improvement in the video quality, thanks to increased internet speed and the Boxcast app. However, with that improved clarity came the glaring visual of the heating unit on the left side of the Chapel. With Vestry's approval, I bought some industrial paint and toned it down this week. I think you'll agree, it looks much better!

ONLINE CONCERTS
Each Wednesday at 12:30pm, we feature one of our beautiful stained glass windows with musical accompaniment on our Facebook page. These little concerts include reading prayers appropriate to the occasion. Our Choirmaster, Andrew Bolden, has taken on providing the musical background, and these are lovely little times of reflection. Afterward, they can be found on our youtube channel as well, which you can find
HERE.
And speaking of music, tomorrow night (Friday) at 7pm, our own Jay Spencer will be displaying his unique skills accompanying silent movies from the Palace Theatre in Canton. The film on tap is Laurel and Hardy's "Liberty," with Jay sitting in at the mighty Kilgen organ. You can find more information
HERE.

BIRTHDAYS and ANNIVERSARIES
It occurs to me that even though we're not currently meeting in person, people keep on having birthdays and anniversaries.
Celebrating birthdays this week are Jane Meyer and Christine Streb (5/2), Reena Kurian (5/6), and Noble Carpenter (5/8). Rick and Etta Trimpi will celebrate their anniversary on May 6th.
Keep these folks in your thoughts, and let them know you're thinking of them.

OTHER THINGS
Although I sure do miss seeing you all on Sundays and during the week, I'm glad everyone is being careful and staying safe. As I said last week, we really have no idea when we'll be able to be able to start gathering for worship again. But whenever those days do arrive, they will be joyful days indeed!
This past fall, my wife planted daffodils and tulips out by the church sign. As I've been watching them come into bloom, it is a regular reminder that there is always beauty in store, even when things don't look so bright.
If you need anything, please don't hesitate to contact me, either at church or on my cell phone.
Love to you all,
Fr. George
