Go Pats!
Then...
Go Sailing!
Last Sunday - 1/9
About 10 brave (maybe foolish!) souls showed up at Sail Newport last Sunday morning. As we waited to see how the breeze would shake out it jumped to a steady 22 with a gust to 44! By about noon time it was clear it was a no-go.
A huge thanks to PJ and Larry for coordinating RC for the day. They gave Moose and Kelly a well deserved day off. Hopefully, we can get them back before the end of the season for a day on the water.

This Sunday - 1/16
Moose and Kelly are back this weekend to handle RC. The weather looks like it is cooperating with lighter winds and cooler temps. The current forecast is a perfect winter sailing day!

RC - We need two volunteers to help this Sunday. One of those volunteers will definitely work. As usual, the second person should be prepared to rig and sail. Sign up online or respond to this email or call Jack or Scott to get on the list.

Fleet Boats - Please remember that there is a fee for using a fleet boat for the day. It is extremely reasonable and should be paid online. Contact Scott through the online reservation link to claim a boat.

Florida Masters Sailing Road Trip
Will and Scott are organizing a trip to Florida to hit several regattas without snow or ice! Boat transportation is being organized...you just have to get yourself there! Track Will and Scott down behind the Mule Barn or at IYAC this weekend. Reply to this email to reach them also!

Used Lasers
There are several fleet members interested in purchasing boats and parts. If you or a friend have a backyard cruiser please respond to this email.
