MLK Day of Service Volunteer Opportunities: Come join thousands of people honoring the legacy of Dr. King nationwide on Monday, January 19. Locally, there are eight group volunteer projects where you and your friends and family may serve. Projects include working with Habitat for Humanity, Camp Fire, Mountain Star Family Relief Nursery, StirrUp Purpose, Westside Village Magnet School, and Around the Bend Farms. Vestry Nominations: Our Vestry Nominating Committee met and will present the attached slate of nominees to run for the three open positions on the vestry. Additional nominations may be made from the floor. Requirements for nominees are as follows:

·       Confirmed lay communicant in good standing of Trinity, at least sixteen years of age, canonically resident and actually residing in the Parish.

·       Regularly participate in corporate worship.

·       Committed to faithful giving, preferably a pledge of proportionate giving, to Trinity as the pattern for Christian stewardship.

Please join us for the Trinity Women’s Group Annual Meeting on Saturday, January 17, from 11 AM –1 PM in Brooks Hall. We’ll gather for fellowship, enjoy lunch together, and brainstorm ideas for the 2026 Women’s Group meetings.

Men’s Group 2026 Planning Meeting is Saturday, January 24

Our January meeting will be held in Books Hall this Saturday starting at 4:30 pm. This is our 2026 Men’s Group annual meeting. We will look back at 2025 and then focus on our 2026 objectives. The meeting will start at 4:30 ending around 6:30. Please RSVP to me at les.mtnbike@gmail.com. Beverages, Mondo Pizza, salad, and cookies will be provided.

       4:30 to 5:00 fellowship

     5:00 to 6:00 meeting

        ~ 5:50 – pizza arrives

        6:30 – meeting adjourned      

Return of Advent Wreaths & Candle Holders

If you received an Advent wreath and candleholder at the Advent Fair and no longer need them, we invite you to return them so they may be reused next year. A basket for returns is available at the front desk in the Parish Office.

Creation Care: Blue-Bag Recycling to Support Family Kitchen: Support Family Kitchen by donating deposit-bearing cans and bottles via the Blue Bag program. Blue Bags with the Family Kitchen QR code are available in the church office. Contact: Ken Wilkins


Red Wagon Ministry & Milk Money Bottles: Place non-perishable food items in Red Wagons at the entries of our worship spaces. Drop some change/cash in our Milk Money Bottles to help fund milk for Family Kitchen diners. Contact: Mary Keath.

All are invited to participate in the Annual COCC “Season of Nonviolence Book Group” beginning Thursday, January 22, 2 - 3:30 PM here at Trinity in Brooks Hall. The book Group will meet on Thursdays through February. This year’s book is Ijeoma Oluo’s Be a Revolution: How Everyday People Are Fighting Oppression and Changing the World - And How You Can, Too. At our first meeting, we will discuss the Introduction, Author’s Note, and the first chapter: “Punishment, Accountability, and Abolition."  To register or for more info: CONTACT Betsy Warriner.

Did you know Trinity has a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Closet? It’s stocked with items like walkers, wheelchairs, and bathroom safety equipment available for anyone who needs them. Our DME Closet has three shower benches/chairs in inventory, however our records show that only one is currently signed out. If you happen to have one of these items, please contact Connie McCracken.

Land Acknowledgment: Trinity Episcopal Church acknowledges that we gather on the ancestral homelands of the Paiute, Wasq'u (Wasco) and Tana'nma (Warm Springs) people, who are still here, and we honor with gratitude the land itself and the life of all the tribes who dwelled on this land.

 Prayer Requests, Pastoral Care & Community Resources

Prayer Requests may be submitted by writing names and information on the Prayer Request sheet at the entrance of the church or contact Kelly in the parish office, 541-382-5542, admin@trinitybend.org. Please, honor people’s privacy and ask permission to add people to the public prayer list by name. If folks prefer not to be named aloud, they may be added to the intercessory prayer list and will be kept confidential. Or they may be added by first name only.


For Pastoral Care visits or meals, if you are ill or going to be hospitalized, Contact Pat Croll, Chair of our Pastoral Care Team.


For Eucharistic Visits, if you are unable to attend church in person on regular basis and desire Home Communion, Contact Mary Keath, chair of our Lay Eucharistic Visitor Team.

Please do not open them or reply. If you ever receive something that seems suspicious, act on your suspicions and call the office.
