Assalamu Alaykum,
This weekend, MAPS-MCRC is excited to partner with the Iraqi/Arab Health Board (IAHB) for a Spring Health Fair on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 at MAPS from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (PST).
The event will include in-person appointments with the MAPS-MCRC Community Clinic (10AM-2PM) which will be reopening in person for the first time after the pandemic.
Please note that appointments are not confirmed until you receive an email from [email protected]. Walk-ins are accepted on a first-come first-served basis.
In addition to the in-person clinic, the Health Fair, held in the MAPS gym, will have booths for the following activities:
- Covid-19 boosters and flu vaccinations
- Vaccine information and home testing kits
- Dental screenings
- Health education regarding cancer screenings
- Physical therapy services and information
- Screening of diabetes & hypertension
- A gynecologist who will be able to answer questions regarding women’s health
- Library services with the King County Library System
- Activities for kids, including large inflatable figures representing human organs
- Snacks and goodies
- Raffle at the end of the event with valuable gifts
Seattle Veterinary Outreach will also be providing free care for pets in the MAPS parking lot. Appointments are not required for Vet Services and will be provided on a walk-in basis.
