It's farmers market season!
The temperatures are rising again! Be sure to check the forecast before you head to the market with your pup! Although the market is pet friendly, the pavement can get really hot.

Raspberries, peppers, tomatoes, melons, corn, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and so much more is in season this week!

Bring a reusable bottle and we'll bring the ice water! Filling up is always free thanks to our friends at The Cheese Shop !

Governor Northam has proclaimed August 4 - 10 Virginia Farmers market Week! Read the proclamation here. Williamsburg Farmers Market will participate by doing a full market customer count as part of a statewide initiative to get a better picture of the impact of farmers markets.

Fall red raspberries are starting up and blackberries continue their roll. Strawberries and blueberries are winding down.

It was much nicer at the market this week and I think everyone was enjoying the cooler temperatures. It is hard to believe that July is over and this Saturday will be the first week in August. Make the most of your summer by coming to the market each week and stocking up on all the market has to offer. While you are there, make sure you come by for some of our summer beverages. Before you know it, Summer will be gone.

Ditchley Cider Works
Growlers, Growlers. Don't forget your growler for a refill of your favorite hard cider. Will also have a limited sample of Rivah without the hops this week for those who are not a fan of hops. Tomato, basil pork sausage was a hit last week along with Beltie Brats. More to come this Saturday. A few duck eggs still coming in, so get there early - they go VERY quickly. Stay cool and see you at the market.

After retiring the farm from tobacco production in 2010, we had the opportunity to produce and share with the public our over 100 year old recipe of Real Country Sausage.
