Making Christ Visible:
Campus Connection
This fall and holiday season proved to be successful for our outreach and campus programs. The Pumpkin Patch had great success in 2018, giving over $30,000 to our local ministries. Our Holy Cross family continues to care for those less fortunate with support of Project Host and Power Packs, as well as other local ministries. We provided a total of 144 Christmas gifts for children at Hickory Tavern Elementary as well as for families supported by DSS. Our social media postings of the Gospel and sermon continue to reach an average of 70-100 brothers and sisters on a weekly basis. We continue to answer the call to serve others and to be the church. Thank you for all that you do to make Holy Cross such a wonderful and welcoming place.
Total Number of People Served by Holy Cross (Quarterly): 1,279

THE LITTLE WHITE HOUSE, Center for Autistic Children, and our Ministry Partner is in need of the following donations.
  • The painting of four ceilings. They are approximately 10 x 14 each. Painting would have to be done on the weekend or evenings after closing.
  • Someone to go into the crawl space and get "junk" out from under there. Crawl   space is very tight.
    • This task would require a person of smaller stature. This can be done during regular daytime hours.
  • A vapor barrier in the crawl space. The Center is approximately 1100 square feet. The accessible crawl space is slightly smaller.
If you or your group or business are able and willing to provide any of these very needed services, please contact Jackie Donboch 864-320-0470. Thank you.

You may have noticed we have new and different flowers on the altar every Sunday. Have you ever wondered what happens to them after Sunday services? Every week, a group of dedicated volunteers re-arranges the flowers into smaller vases and delivers those bouquets to community members in need. It's a fulfilling way to reach out to church members experiencing tough times. We're looking for volunteers to add to our rota -- no experience necessary!
Volunteers typically serve once a month and work in teams of two to arrange and deliver the flowers to three different locations. The whole process takes no more than two hours. If you are interested in participating in this rewarding ministry,
please reach out to the ministry's leader Deb Koltonski at or (864) 423-4464.

Have you ever wondered, "What is my purpose in life? Why am I here?
Does God have a plan for me? Are faith and belief the same thing?"

Ministry Partner- Upstate Warrior Solutions
"Veteran Coffee Meet-Up"
on the 2nd Thursday of each month 8-9AM at GratefulBrew, 501 S. Pleasantburg.
Drop ins welcome
No RSVP required
Are you a seasoned professional? Whether you are a veteran or civilian, you have likely worked hard to improve your professional standing within the community, and you have a lot to offer. We would love to include you in supporting, impacting, and ultimately achieving our mission.
We are always looking for individuals with unique skills sets, such as carpentry or resume development, or those of you who have expertise in professions, including but not limited to accounting, finance, or criminal and civil law. But if you have a special certification or qualification or do a job you think would be beneficial for the warriors, the veterans, to help them reintegrate back into society, please reach out to us!
Successful reintegration has to involve community and civilian interaction. And you, whoever you are in the community, could be the one to help that warrior successfully reintegrate back into society. Not only would you be servicing the warrior, you would be servicing yourself and helping yourself integrate into society and spread the word about your talent. It's a win-win!
Do you have some extra time on your hands and are interested in Upstate Warrior Solution? You are in luck! We could use someone like you to give your time to help impact the mission of our organization. It is not important whether you are a veteran or civilian or have any particular, professional experience or qualification. If you are willing to help us out, we can find a place for you!
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we encourage you to reach out to us. We have three areas of need you can choose to help out at Upstate Warrior Solution: volunteering at our events, answering the phone at our front desk in our Greenville office or mentoring veterans. But don't feel limited to those positions. If you can give your time in another capacity we can work something out with you. Please contact Nate Moore at or call him at 864-523-2073.
