Sept 2-5 Labor Day Weekend!! Labor Day reflects our willingness to toil to improve our country through hard work. Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. The holiday was founded as a celebration that honored organized labor and its efforts to establish and protect worker’s rights. It has evolved into a fuller celebration of ALL American workers. Labor Day also marks the perceived end of the summer season.

Tue, Oct 4 Erev Yom Kippur – Day of Covering & Exchange
6:30 PM Join us for a special time of teaching, reflection, and
be coming clean in spirit and soul.
Mikveh – bring a towel and swimwear or clothing for getting wet.
Wed, Oct 5 Yom Kippur – Day of Covering & Exchange
A High Sabbath – Day of Resting & Abiding
11:00 AM – 5:00 PM Day of corporate fasting for our congregation and all who are of Israel.
Holy Convocation We’re making a few great changes to our usual Yom Kippur observance! Lighter, more insightful, greater focus on worship, increasing our connection with Israel as our Promised Land.
“Break the Fast” plans: ELCC providing slow-cooked Brisket.
Bring salads and desserts to share.

(Feast of Tabernacles)
10:00 AM Your help would be greatly appreciated…usually
takes 2 to 3 hours.
Shabbat, Oct 8 Setting up our ELCC Sukkah
1:30 PM We have a traditional Sukkah,a Tipi, and a
Nativity Creche to set up outside the
building! The traditional sukkah will also need
decorating. Bring a ladder, step ladder,
screws , screw guns, your own beverage, and a
positive teamwork attitude!
