Women in Construction Week celebrates the vital contributions of women across the industry. This year, GBCA highlights Anna Liza Montenegro of Microsol Resources, Graitec Group, Angela Vacante of Bittenbender Construction, LLC, Karla Wursthorn of TN Ward Company, and Dr. Kimberlee Zamora of Widener University — four leaders actively engaged in GBCA initiatives who are advancing innovation, development, collaboration, and education within union construction.

On February 26, newly elected GBCA Chairman, Angelo Perryman, was honored in Philadelphia City Council by Councilmember Nina Ahmad for his leadership and longstanding impact on the city’s construction industry.

In February, GBCA participated in the Belmont Charter High School Annual Trade Fair, connecting with students across all grade levels to share information about construction career pathways, training programs, and the wide range of skilled trades within the industry.

GBCA’s CLC hosted a panel for Drexel University’s Estimating class, where industry professionals shared real-world insights into the skills, collaboration, and career pathways within construction estimating.
