The Lord is good to us. Concordia Preparatory School has admitted 1037 students. What a joy to have these children studying the Ten Commandments, the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer, Luther's Small Catechism with Explanation, the need for Baptism and the Lord's Supper, and the proclamation of the gospel that by grace alone through faith in Jesus we are saved NOT by the works we do.

The growing population and the accompanying COVID-19 safety protocols have led the school to look for more water sources, adequate furniture, more classrooms etc.

The Lord has blessed us with faithful Christian teachers who use LSC in the Christian Education class period. What a blessing!

We continue to pray for you and the wonderful work you are doing for Christ.

Pastor Luis Jacinto: Gualan, Guatemala

Our Resurrection Lutheran School in Gualán restarted in-person classes, attending to the boys and girls in small groups... but as we are governed by the colors of the "traffic light" to serve the students in groups, we can only do it for a week at a time.
The colors work like this: Green color all arrive at the School, Yellow color only 50% of students arrive at school, Orange color 30% of students arrive at school, and Red color 0% of students (everything in red in virtual).
For now, only the Lutheran School in Gualán has taken up the challenge for face-to-face education; the other schools have not. We ask for your prayers to walk in this uncertain year... but that we walk safely because the Lord is walking before us!
