Dear friend of theONswitch:
When I was a little girl, my birthday parties sometimes got canceled because of snow.
A major surgery derailed my professional career for months.
I saw a marketing department of 150 shrink to 4 during an economic downturn. (And -- lucky me -- I was left in charge.)
After several successful years as an entrepreneur, I lost everything following the recession and had to rebuild.
I'm not sharing TMI to get pity, but rather to give hope. None of us have lived through an era like this before, but only through innovation, resilience, compassion, and collaboration will we emerge wiser, stronger, and more connected.
