IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES
  • 2020/21 FAFSA deadline is June 30, 2021
  • Apr 30 -"W" DEADLINE - Semester-long courses dropped by this date appear on the student’s permanent record with a notation of "W" for withdrawn. The "W" deadline for a short-term/extended term course is 75% of the course meetings.
  • Final exams: May-22-May 28
NEW: PARKING LOT WIFI
Limited spaces available on a first-come first-serve basis.
You may stay for up to two hours.

LOCATION: Gilroy campus, Designated spots in Parking Lot "C"
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. First session starts at 7 a.m.; no admission after 6 p.m.

Gavilan College students and staff may access the internet using the college WiFi network during the pandemic by following these guidelines:
  1. Use the OPEN-ACCESS Gavilan WiFi network (no password required). 
  2. No appointment is necessary: check in at South Gate using QR code.
  3. Students must be currently enrolled.
  4. The internet is available for coursework only. 
  5. WiFi users must abide by BP/AP 3720 – Computer and Network Use.
  6. Restrooms and other campus services are not available.
  7. You must bring your own device.
  8. No tech support will be available.
  9. WiFi users must remain in their vehicles at all times. 
  10. If you have other business on campus, move out of designated wifi spot for that portion of your visit.
 * Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in losing the ability to participate and/or referral for possible student disciplinary action.

Health and Wellness

Online Health and Wellness Resources: Wellness Central is a free online health and wellness resource that is available 24/7 in your space at your pace.

Students enrolled in credit courses have access to WellVia, a telehealth and telemedicine service provided via telephone and secure video by board-certified physicians. The first consultation is FREE of cost to the student.
