In just TWO DAYS, on February 5, we will be advocating for brain injury funding and services at the Virginia General Assembly alongside persons with brain injury, caregivers, and other supporters. If you can't be there in person, you can certainly join our efforts from wherever you are by sending a letter, an email or a fax, and sharing your commitment to creating a better future on your social media accounts. We hope you'll join us!
New Caregiver Hotline Launched
The Caregiver Action Network has officially launched a new hotline and online chat system just for caregivers. Call or chat with them to discuss topics like finances, doctor appointments, medications, and even emotional support. If you or someone you know would benefit from talking to a Care Support Specialist, you can call them at 855-227-3640 or chat online.
2019 in Review
2019 saw great things happen at BIAV. New staff, new programs, and new grants created opportunities we took advantage of to raise awareness of brain injury and make us a stronger organization. We're excited to share with you our 2019 Mission Report, where you can find a letter from our Executive Director, statistics on how we used cutting-edge technology to improve our programs, and a financial breakdown.
