Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to a successful year ahead.

BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Board Spotlight: Laurie Stuntz

Before joining the Board, Laurie didn’t fully understand what made credit unions different. Like many people, she viewed them simply as another place to handle transactions — until a personal experience changed her perspective.

While purchasing a vehicle, Laurie turned to Great Erie at her husband's recommendation. The experience stood out immediately: friendly service, favorable rates, and a level of care she hadn’t encountered before. That moment sparked a deeper curiosity.

With a career rooted in retirement planning and a strong passion for financial education, Laurie felt drawn to the credit union’s mission of helping people succeed financially. When she later saw a call for Board members, she realized it was an opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.

Today, Laurie is proud to serve alongside fellow Board members and Great Erie leadership, helping guide an organization that truly puts members first — and strengthens the community it serves.

  • Never share one-time passcodes—Great Erie will never ask for them

  • Verify unexpected requests before clicking links or opening attachments

When in doubt, pause and contact us directly. Staying alert is one of the best ways to protect yourself.
