We have a lot of gratitude to share. In this season of wonder and thankfulness, we wish to say THANK YOU to the thousands of supporters who support our work each year to carry out our mission to ‘build and strengthen families and their children, instilling hope for the future and a better quality of life’.  We are very thankful for the hundreds of people, businesses and foundations that have supported us this fall. Of particular note, we wish to extend our deepest appreciation to the Sukeforth family for once again including The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers' Christmas Program as one of the recipients of the Sukeforth Family Festival of Trees, The New Balance Foundation for helping to support the Christmas Program with funding and volunteers, the Marden’s family and the Marden’s employees for generously supporting the Red Stocking Campaign again and the hundreds of Christmas Program volunteers who have lovingly received donations, sorted wonderful gifts, packed hundreds of boxes and helped to serve over 1,800 children across the state of Maine so far this season.

Our spirits are bright here at The Maine Children’s Home . This quote from Melodie Beattie is a great encouragement:  ‘Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity.... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.’

We are thankful for you.

Best wishes for the season,
