Dear Operation Underground Railroad Supporter,
O.U.R. sends a sincere message of gratitude to the world’s first responders and health care professionals who are putting aside their own well-being to ensure the health and safety of our communities. We feel a strong affinity for first responders and truly appreciate and recognize how unbelievably crucial their efforts are at this time. These caregivers deserve our utmost support.
This virus will not stop what O.U.R. is committed to doing. Those who depend on us cannot wait for things to settle down. Our teams are taking precautionary measures to avoid contracting or transmitting COVID-19, but be assured we are not standing down while children await rescue. Our efforts to coordinate with law enforcement both here and abroad will continue with temporary adjustments to comply with recommended safeguards, but we are not sitting idle and never will as long as children are being sold for sex.
We are grateful to remain actively working with many trusted partners around the world which allow us to press onward during this challenging time. We’d also like to commend our partners in law enforcement for their continued vigilance. Your brave efforts to remain engaged in the anti-trafficking battle punctuates the extraordinary heroics of what you do. We are honored to work by your side.
Traffickers care little for their human contraband. They feel no regard for the well-being of the vulnerable children they sell. This time of social responsibility means nothing to them or the predators they cater to. Enslaved children are now more vulnerable than ever. To law enforcement worldwide, please know that O.U.R. is here to support you and your anti-child trafficking investigations.
And to our dedicated followers and donors, your continued support in these difficult times is appreciated more than ever. The children awaiting our rescue are counting on us to remain agile and find ways to successfully find them, regardless of the hurdles put in our way. If you are able, a donation would go a long way to help these children. Even during these precarious times and challenges, O.U.R. will continue the good fight!
Sincerely,
Jonathan Lines
