Have you tried our virtual speed datings? Here's what attendees are saying:

I thought this was extremely well done! I wasn’t sure what to expect & the pace and ability to connect with so many people really made the event easy & fun.

This was my first time attending a speed dating session. I had a great time even with it being virtual.

It’s a genius idea, had fun while meeting great people

Very nicely managed. We had enough time to communicate and get to know the other participants.

Had a pleasant time. It was my first time doing something like this. It was easy and fun. Super efficient.

Very nice being able to chat with folks from the ease of my own home. Smoothly run.

It was my first event and I had a good time. I enjoyed all of the conversation.

How does virtual speed dating work?

Enjoy speed dating in the comfort of your own home!

Mix up your own favorite drink, grab a seat on the couch and get ready to safely date while social distancing.

How Does This Work?
Using the Zoom system, we will gather together in the beginning for a short introduction by our staff. We will then put each man and each woman in their own virtual speed dating rooms for a few short minutes until you are switched to your next partner. We will make sure every man meets every woman at the event!

Within 24 hours after the event, you'll be connected to our exclusive online dating system where you can send messages to each other without releasing your last name or e-mail address.

This new form of online dating allows you to still see each other at a safe distance, in a safe spot- your own home!

Our business model has always encouraged in person dating, but during these unprecedented times we want to give you the opportunity to connect with other singles!

The Cliff Notes
  • Using Zoom, every man and woman will be in their own speed dating room

  • We will send the event link just before the event

  • Every man will meet every woman

  • Everyone will have their camera and audio on

  • After the event you will gain access to our dating system

  • Our dating system allows you to send messages to anyone you met for 10 days after the event

  • Our mutual match system will notify you of mutual matches

>>>>> Virtual Speed Dating Etiquette <<<<<

Whether it’s your first time trying one of our popular virtual speed dating events, or you’re a seasoned dater brushing up on your game, we have a few tips for you. These tips will help ensure a great experience that will leave a lasting first impression with your speed dating partners!

All these tips are optional. Do what feels right for you.

1. Dress As If You Are Going Out On A Date!

Yes, that’s right! Even if you are at home, still get yourself ready as if you are going out on a date. It not only helps you to feel confident, it also shows that you took the time to put yourself together for the evening and get you in the mood to meet some new people!

2. Make Sure Your Background is Clean.

Test your Zoom camera before the event so you can see what shows in your background. Clear any clutter, make sure you have good lighting, and arrange your space to show a little about yourself. After all, our home says a lot about ourselves! Perhaps place yourself in front of your bookshelf, “Wow, looks like you like to read!” See, now you have a conversation starter! If you play music, maybe you want your musical instrument with you. If you like art, maybe a painting behind you. Even a glass of wine or a well-behaved pet could be part of your ensemble. You get the point!

3. Make Your Area Quiet

To go along with the above, ensure that you are in a quiet area. If you have roommates, be sure to be in a space by yourself, without any interruptions, unnecessary distractions or background noises.

4. Good Lighting Makes a Difference!

Make sure you are in a room that is well lit so your dates can see you! We’ve seen it all, from people being in their car to being in a coffee shop. It is best to find a well lit area in your home where you are comfortable and can be well seen. Backlighting is generally not ideal, as it can make your face difficult to see.

5. Laptops or Desktops > Phones or Tablets

We find that it is easier to virtually speed date on a desktop or laptop computer placed on a desk or table, rather than a phone or tablet. You can position yourself comfortably without having to hold your phone up, your image stays still instead of moving around with the phone, your face is not as close to the camera, and the connection is generally better and easier to troubleshoot issues.

6. Give All Speed Dating Partners A Chance

Remember, we organize this event to maximize the number of people you meet in one evening. Not everyone at the event will be a match with you, but most people do match with somebody. We generally have rotations from 4 to 6 minutes before the next person comes into your breakout room. Be kind and give everyone a fair chance. If you feel uncomfortable, you can always tell your partner that you need a break. You can then stop your video or mute yourself until the next partner arrives.
