The Dunbarton Public Library staff and Board of Trustees invite the community to celebrate National Library Week,  April 4-10, 2021.
The theme for National Library Week, “Welcome to Your Library”, promotes the idea that libraries extend far beyond the four walls of a building – and that everyone is welcome to use their services. During the pandemic, all libraries across the country pivoted and adapted to the changing world, expanding resources to continue to meet the needs of their users.
The past year has been difficult. It is hard to believe that many of you have NOT been into the library over the course of the year. Celebrating National Library Week this year will help remind us all of the value and importance of our libraries. I am grateful for all the ways the library WAS able to serve our patrons and community, and for the flexibility and creativity shown by the Board of Trustees and library staff to re-imagine the library through the pandemic. We hope that everyone will hang in there, take time to relax, attend one of our online programs, use our electronic services, or our curbside pick-up services. Please give us a call if you have any questions. We are still here for you—online 24/7, by phone, and in person soon!
