When you enter through the front doors into the wide open library you will sense the smiles behind our masks! Book drops will remain open during the day for convenience in returning books.

The Anne Williams McGraw Atrium has been re-worked to give more space to pick-up your latest new books.
The Lower Lever has been rearranged to provide more distancing for study & computer use.

2nd Plein Air Online Build-up
|
In order to support our artist and help fund the library we will be having an online auction of Osterville & Cape Cod artwork building up to Plein Air.
Art is being added daily so check back.

Our Virtual Cookbook Club
|
is off to a great start! Each participant chose a recipe to prepare from "Real Simple: Meals Made Easy" and then gathered virtually via
"Zoom".
It’s great to see our community connected and sharing the joy of cooking and books to prepare while keeping our social distance!

Effective Monday, April 13, 2020, the
Transfer Station and Recycling Center
will be temporarily closing the facility on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through May 4, 2020. Also, the Recycling Area at the Town of Barnstable’s Transfer Station will be temporarily closed through May 4, 2020.

New due dates for the following real estate and personal property bills, motor vehicle excise bills, water and sewer utility bills, and exemption and deferral applications:
Fourth Quarter Real Estate and Personal Property Tax Bills:
- Original Due Date: May 1, 202 - New Due Date: June 1, 2020
Motor Vehicle Excise Taxes:
- Any bills issued with a due date of March 10, 2020, or later are now due on June 1, 2020, regardless of the due date printed on the bill
Water and Sewer Utility Bills:
Town of Barnstable Finance Director further clarification regarding payment of Water Utility Bills and Motor Vehicle Excise Tax Bills.
