Crowdfunding campaign launched to replace and enhance Environmental Signage at Milford’s Walnut Beach
$1,500 crowdfunding goal to receive matching grant from Sustainable CT’s Community Match Fund
Milford, CT, May 8, 2023 – The Walnut Beach Association is working to replace two environmental signs measuring 2’ x 4’ along Walnut Beach, and to install two new signs along the Walnut Beach Boardwalk. These new signs will feature QR code links to an amazing interactive tour of the Boardwalk created by Caroline Chesson, a local High School Graduate, as her senior environmental science project.

For over two decades, the Milford Campus Bridgeport Hospital (the former Milford Hospital) has hosted a Mother's Day Run & Walk and Kids Fun Run to promote wellness & health. All abilities are invited to join us as we celebrate the day! All proceeds from our event will benefit the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus Fund, which provides for advanced medical technology and groundbreaking programs that improve the health of all in the Hospital’s care.
