Pancakes & Policy
Our popular “Pancakes and Policy” breakfast meeting series will resume on Wednesday, July 29th with Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr as our featured guest for this virtual event. He will discuss current legal issues faced by the State of Georgia, with particular emphasis on matters impacting economic development. The cost to participate on the Zoom call is $25.00, which includes a $15.00 gift card to any Chamber member restaurant recognized on the registration page to help support them during these difficult times. 
Business Liability Concerns for Covid-19 Claims

Leadership from our post-secondary partners ( University of Georgia Athens Technical College , University of North Georgia , and Piedmont College ) will discuss what students, and the community, can expect when their respective schools start.  The question of when/how schools will reopen if multi-layered. Join us to discover the challenges these schools face and the steps they will take/have taken to overcome those challenges.
Economic Development is Searching for Local Creatives
Athens-Clarke County Economic Development  has teamed up with CREATE Athens and a variety of other local organizations to bring you the Athens Creatives Directory! ACD is a place for creatives to share their work and connect with patrons. Before we release the directory to the public, we are looking for Athens creatives to "populate" the directory with listings of their work. If you or someone you know is a local creative, please email athenscreatives@gmail.com with your name and contact information.

Provisions of Hope Baskets
Lydia's Place is collecting Provisions of Hope Baskets July 20-August 30. These baskets help welcome a student who has overcome all obstacles to pursue secondary education. You can drop off baskets here at the AACOC or other locations listed on the flyer.
