Athens-Clarke County Economic Development Department has teamed up with CREATE Athens (the Arts and Culture workgroup of Envision Athens) and many other local organizations to bring you the "Athens Creatives Directory." It is a sleek and efficient hub of Athens creatives that has been developed to promote the local creative economy. If you are an Athens creative, please submit a listing of your work for everyone to enjoy. If you are an Athens resident or visitor, please view the work of and engage with local creatives on the site. We hope you will enjoy this site!

Hear from Satisfactory Printing, Express Employment Professionals, Classic City Chef, and Prince Avenue Baptist Church. College and University Dialogue: Re-entry into the Classroom
Leadership from our post-secondary partners (University of GeorgiaAthens Technical College, University of North Georgia, and Piedmont College) will discuss what students, and the community, can expect when their respective schools start.  The question of when/how schools will reopen if multi-layered. Join us to discover the challenges these schools face and the steps they will take/have taken to overcome those challenges.

Back to School Town Hall
The Clarke County School District will hold a Virtual Town Hall meeting to answer questions relating to the start of school. This town hall is scheduled for tomorrow, August 5th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. During this meeting, the Chief Academic Officer, Chief of Operations, Chief of Human Resources, Executive Director of Special Education, and Director of School Nursing, will be present to answer questions.
Goodwill Is Hosting a Virtual Information Session
Interested in learning more about the skills programs offered at Goodwill of North Georgia? Join them for one of their Virtual Info Sessions to learn all about them. Provisions of Hope Baskets
Lydia's Place is collecting Provisions of Hope Baskets July 20-August 30. These baskets help welcome a student who has overcome all obstacles to pursue secondary education. You can drop off baskets here at the AACOC or other locations listed on the flyer.
