Did You Know?
The winning design of our Mask On, Athens! contest is Living, Learning, Loving Athens by Angelica Millen!
Angelica has won not only the honor of having her design printed on 500 masks, but also $1,000! She garnered almost a quarter of the 1200 votes we received from the Athens community. The fabric will be printed by Satisfactory Printing, and masks will be sewn by Community. Masks are now available for pre-sale and will also be sold in local stores after production. The money raised from the sale of the masks will benefit the Athens Creative Directory, a new artist registry hosted by the Athens-Clarke County Economic Development Department and Create workgroup of Envision Athens. Thank you to all of the artists who entered, everyone who voted, and to all of our sponsors! We can't wait to see people wearing them around town.
