How to donate to the Church

Nursery Wish List

We are the Church

On Sunday we gathered to remember the life of Clif Buchanan and to commend him to God's eternal care. Following the service there was a reception in the Garth. Our deepest thanks to all who pitched in to offer hospitality to the Buchanan family, especially Mellody Anderson who coordinated the efforts. If you missed the service you may see it here.

This past Sunday the nursery received the donation of a projector and screen from their Wish List. Many of the items on the list are quite inexpensive, but can make a big difference to both staff and kids. A link to most wanted items can be found at the bottom of this E-Blast under Giving)

This Sunday!

Sunday Lunch Bunch

Several people have expressed an interest in getting together for lunch after Sunday worship, so let's give it a try!

Our next lunch date will be on Sunday, October 29, 2023, after the church service. This month we will go to Ruby's Diner. We will have flyers available that donate 20% of the bill to the Anaheim Fall Festival. (Here is a copy of the fundraising flyer if you want to support the Festival at another time. Click here to download)

It will be fun getting to know each other better in a social setting, rather than just saying "Hi" on Sunday morning!!

Help Feed the World with Shepherd's Grove Presbyterian, Irvine

November 4 - 9am to 11am

Did you know that 1 in 7 kids in the world suffers from the effects of food insecurity, living in a chronic state of malnutrition? Through the OneMeal program, tens of thousands of impoverished children have a warm, nutritious meal EACH DAY.

This is a family-friendly, meal-packaging extravaganza where volunteers come together in unity to help end world hunger. They have set a goal of preparing 40,000 meals, which will go to feed hungry kids in Peru!

Want to reserve your spot or get more information? Sign up in the the Narthex on Sunday or contact our Ministry Intern, Susan Wei who is coordinating this event. susanwei3@yahoo.com

Gathering of Spirits is an informal time of open conversation

where human spirits can connect with one another and God’s Spirit

while sipping some spirits (or soft drinks).

Windsor Browns is a Beer, Wine, and Sandwich Pub located at the corner of Center St Promenade and Clementine.

It is an easy 1 block walk from the church.

Our next meeting will be in November 28, 2023.

Meeting time changed to 5:45pm to get Happy Hour pricing!

Ministry Opportunities

Fellowship and Goodies?

We are always looking for donations of cookies or other treats to give us something to munch on while enjoy a cup of Dale's coffee. If you feel like baking (or shopping) just bring them with you on a Sunday. If we have too many treats that day we will freeze some for the next week. Thank you!
