Welcome & Godspeed!

Worship Series - Gifts that Keep Giving

Discovering the gifts God offers—and the challenge to accept them.

Sermon: The Gift of the Unexpected

Scripture: Matthew 17:1-9

With the commercialized “gift-giving season” behind us, we will focus on some of God’s unexpected gifts that we can enjoy long after the Christmas tree has been hauled away—gifts that reveal themselves in new ways as time goes on.

Lent Worship and Devotional Series

God often works through the ordinary: ordinary people, ordinary objects, ordinary grace. It is through the mundane that we hear God’s invitation to grow in faith and service. This Lent, guided by the book, Lent in Plain Sight by Jill Duffield, we will focus on ten ordinary objects that Jesus would have encountered on his way to Jerusalem (dust, bread, the cross, coins, shoes, oil, coats, towels, thorns, and stones*) and listen for the lessons that God offers to us through them.

The church has copies of the book for a suggested donation of $12. If you would like to order your own copy or read on Kindle, CLICK HERE.

Sunday Lunch Bunch - February 22

Anyone who wishes may join in going out to lunch after worship. Location TBD.

Come support our choir intern, Jeannette Hunker!

A Glass of Cabaret - February 28

Save the date for our fan-favorite Glass of Cabaret event! Guests will be treated to a wonderful afternoon of solo and ensemble performances. All the while, sip on a variety of wines, enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and bid on silent auction items. Mark your calendars today to be sure you don’t miss this fun-filled event to support the OCWC!
