We are the Church

Feed the World!

Thanks to Susan Wei, we had the opportunity to address childhood food insecurity. During our shift on Saturday morning at Shepherd's Grove Presbyterian Church we helped package over 22,000 nutritious, high protein, Red Lentil and Rice meals that will feed hungry children in Peru.

Old and New Gather at Jessica's Baby Shower

At Jessica's baby shower our former, current, and future Church Administrators were all in attendance. Leah recommended Jessica for the position, and Jessica has brought us Jessie. Jessie will begin on Tuesday, November 28 for 3 weeks of training with the current Jessica.

Welcome New Members!

On Reformation Sunday we joyously welcomed Jason Vega and Matthew Ramirez into membership at Anaheim First Presbyterian Church. Jason, who grew up baptist, comes to us by Reaffirmation of Faith. Matthew, who was baptized Catholic and who was involved in a campus ministry in college is becoming a part of a church for the first time. Matthew and Jason live in Anaheim with their cat, Clouseau.

If you are interested in learning what would be entailed in joining Jason and Matthew as a member of our congregation, contact Pastor Kim.

All Church Prayer Gathering

Let's come together on Tuesday, November 14th, at 10am to pray to God for the church, the world, and each other either in person at the church or via Zoom. We will sing a few praise songs and hymns and then break into small prayer groups. There is no formula to this praying time and prayer experience is not necessary. All are welcome!

This month we will stay at church and enjoy lunch together after we finish decorating the sanctuary for Christmas.

Gathering of Spirits is an informal time of open conversation

where human spirits can connect with one another and God’s Spirit

while sipping some spirits (or soft drinks).

Windsor Browns is a Beer, Wine, and Sandwich Pub located at the corner of Center St Promenade and Clementine.

It is an easy 1 block walk from the church.

Our next meeting will be on December 5, 2023. (Please note new date)
