God at the Movies- November 23

You are invited to go to the movies with other members of the congregation to see Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin. this Saturday, November 23. We will plan to attend the 4 pm showing at the AMC Orange 30 at the Outlets at Orange. When buying tickets online, know that there are members of the church who will be sitting in Row E if you want to sit near others.

Bonhoeffer was a pastor in Germany during the rise of Hitler and died at age 39 in a concentration camp following a failed assassination attempt on Hitler. His books, including The Cost of Discipleship and Life Together have become spiritual classics. Click here to see the trailer.

Giving

It's not too late!! Please consider making a special donation toward Per Capita for 2024.

As part of a connectional church we pay per capita apportionment per member to support the work of the larger Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). This year the amount is $40.65 and will be divided between Presbytery, Synod, and General Assembly. Every Presbyterian shares in the benefit of the PC (USA)'s system of government, so every Presbyterian is asked to share the expenses associated with coordinating and performing the functions of that system. Please consider making this special offering, You may add it to your regular offering, but please make a note that the donation includes an offering to per capita.

Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not regretfully or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
