Rummage Sale and Flu Shot Clinic Report

Our campus was hopping this Friday and Saturday with rotating teams of members welcoming people to campus, offering them a cup of hot coffee and selling them baked goods. On Saturday, Julianna, our faith community nurse, offered free flu shots in the Garth in partnership with Hoag Hospital. At the end of day 2 the proceeds of the sale was $5,606.00 (we are still hoping to sell the Storage Shed if you know someone in the market for you). In addition, the bake sale received donations of $211.86 which we passed onto the group who prepares over 250 hot and nourishing meals for our unhoused neighbors each week from our kitchen. Many thanks to the many who gave time and energy to preparing and working the sale.
