Landscaping

A landscaping request for proposal was issued in early fall for the 2024 landscaping contract. The RFP is periodically distributed to ensure that Carnes receives the best possible service and price. Four proposals were received for the board's evaluation, and after careful consideration, the 2024 Landscaping contract was awarded to Artigues Landscaping. Known for their high-quality and reliable landscape services, Artigues is now set to commence work at the beginning of the year. We are delighted to have them on board and eagerly anticipate seeing the Carnes landscaping truly flourish under their care.

2024 Annual Assessment

The 2024 annual assessment will be $804.30, the 2024 Road Reserve Assessment will be $139.65. For a total 2024 Assessment of $943.95. Paid annually and due January 1, 2024, it will be late after January 31, 2024. This is a $3.75 a month increase over 2023.

Assessment statements have been mailed for 2024. When signing in online to make a payment, your account may show a balance of $0.0. The amount will not be posted online to your account until January 1st. If this is the case, you can still pay by typing in the exact amount shown on your statement, as the amount is correct. You could also wait until after January 1st if you would like to see the fee posted to your account.

Crazy Dutchman Catering Service will be serving up a delicious meal for our 6th Annual Oyster Roast. Menu: Steamed Local Select Cluster Oysters, Gourmet Beef Hot Dogs with buns, ketchup, mustard and relish, Beef and Chili with shredded cheese, sour cream, and diced onions, fresh baked cornbread muffins with whipped butter.

Individual tickets include a meal for 1 person, beer and wine service, and live music!

Residents MUST purchase a ticket in advance. Tickets will not be sold the day of the event. No Ticket, No Entry. 10 & under are free. Deadline to purchase tickets: February 1st
