"Overcoming Divisions in Uncertain Times"
Friday, September 28
7pm - 9pm
Inter-Faith Dialogue & the Promise of Spirituality – Learning to Feed Our Hunger for the Sacred Presentation

Violence… Poverty… Despair… Division… Suicide… All of these are on the rise in our society. These are the symptoms of a soul-starved society.

What can we do about this? Can the emerging trend of inter-faith dialogue and shared activity be a solution that helps us transform our society of despair, division and separation into “A World for All”?

What you will learn:
  • How our society’s problems point to a common solution.
  • How what appear to be economic, social or political issues are really spiritual in nature.
  • How our solutions may lie in the many wisdom traditions of the various human cultures.
Saturday, September 29
10 am - 4pm
How to Practice the Golden Rule in Turbulent Times Workshop
Light lunch provided

Our society has never been more divided and stratified. Our tools of communication (including the Internet) seem to take us further apart, rather than bring us together.

Together, we can learn how to create constructive, authentic and respectful conversations about difficult subjects. We do this by understanding and removing the blocks and barriers to healthy communication.

In this workshop you will learn:
  • How to see the world from a new, inclusive perspective.
  • How to embrace cultural change without fear.
  • How to “engage the Other” in authentic dialog.
  • How to identify and remove internal “exclusivist” filters that block clear perception.

Prayer of the Week
“My Love is complete within me. The Love of God binds me to Itself, and will not let me go.” Ernest Holmes

God’s Love is forever and ever expanding and deepening Itself, in, through and as every aspect of Its beautiful, glorious creation. This Love is higher and deeper than any human mind can begin to comprehend. The Infinite Love of God is all that there is, and each one of of is an expression of this ineffable Love.

It is in the complete Trust in this Love, God’s Love, that the leaves and needles on our maples and tamarack allow the fall splendor to emerge in the breaking down of chlorophyll inside of them. The alchemal changes produce spectacular colors in the Fall foliage. The complete Trust in God that these magnificent trees demonstrate in their eventual willingness to let go of their leaves, inspires us all. As we allow the activities of nature’s “letting go” in Autumn provide the inspiration for our own courageous hearts to let go, the space empties in our consciousness, for new life and more Love.

We together express Gratitude for the constant change that occurs in our human lives, allowing for the alchemy to transform each one of us into our greatest yet to be. Appreciation radiates to this constant, everlasting Love of Spirit, that gives us the courage to let go.
We can let go easily, trusting that nothing leaves our lives unless something better is coming!

This Word is released into the Law of Mind, with complete confidence that It Is Done.

And So It Is!
