Linda Stapleton will have an activity available for kids who are not participating in the program.

The Gideon Project is the strategic plan to guide Southminster Church through our next season of development and growth. | |

We launched with an initial goal of raising $75,000.00 in the last 16 weeks of 2024, to jumpstart our plan. So far, in the first 10 weeks we've raised $36,969.90 (as of 11/18). Thank you Southminster for your support!

On Saturday, December 7th we are hosting a Christmas party for the residents of Black Mountain Home for Children. We will leave in the morning, set-up, serve lunch, host the party and clean-up.
The party should be done around 2:00PM.
We anticipate carpooling from the church. Those who are carpooling will be leaving around 8:30AM and returning around 3:30PM.

GRIEF SHARE
Grief Share is a support ministry for those going through the process of grief. Southminster will host a Grief Share group on Saturdays at 11:00AM, from January 4 to March 29. For Boots Larocca who home from the hospital but still awaiting a procedure to strengthen her vertebra and bring pain relief and healing for her back.

For Terry Murchison and for Wanda as she gives care, and for their great-grandson Malaki who continues to struggle with illness. Malaki has an appointment with an immunologist today, and at Duke on December 5. Please pray for insights. Also, please pray for their granddaughter Kelcey who is undergoing tests and wearing a heart monitor.

For Jeff and Michelle Terry, Jeff has undergone tests to determine the source of some lingering health issues and they are awaiting answers.

For Pattie Queen, Josh Wise's aunt who has a brain tumor and is considering various option and procedures. Please pray for Josh and Nicole as well as they are helping Patti navigate this time.

For Karen Knight's father who is recovering from illness, and for Karen and Danny as they give care.

For the Quinn family, Kenny's brother, Lewis, has lymphoma, colon cancer, and heart blockages. His son, Billie and Billie's wife Libby, are primary caregivers for Lewis, all while Billie is working through a prognosis of throat cancer.

For Will Roberts, who continues serving in the Marines. Will is currently on deployment in an undisclosed location. Pray for Will, Frank and Dawn, Kali and their family.
