Heavenly Father, as we continue to pray for our community as we remember those who died, and for those who were wounded, and for those who grieve after the attack last week. Please pour out your healing love on us, and help us to trust you in the midst of things that we do not understand. By your Almighty power, we ask that you redeem the evil that has been done in our community by bringing us closer to each other, and making us more compassionate people. We ask this in the Name of your Son, Jesus. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
In talking with the Fr. Rick and Fr. Travis this morning about how we could continue to respond to the attack last week, we decided to have a time of Prayer at noon on Wednesdays in McKee Chapel until further notice. It will be a simple time of prayer, not more than forty five minutes or so. One of the clergy will be present.
Last night we had a new family picnic for St. Clement's Parish School and this Wednesday is the first day of school. Please keep the school in prayer as we begin a new year, and teachers deal with the aftermath of the shooting in the lives of our students.
This coming Sunday from 10-10:30 a.m.
there will be an Acolyte Training for ALL acolytes. Please join us in the church sanctuary.
