ICE CREAM SUNDAY!!

Join us after church this Sunday 3 for our
Ice Cream Sunday event! An ice cream truck will be on site to provide free scoops to every group donating unopened packages of diapers or baby wipes.
Tell your neighbors and friends to come by, make a donation, and enjoy a cool treat!
Donations benefit the Second Story.org Residential Young Mother's Program.

CHESTERBROOK TEACHERS
BACK-TO-SCHOOL GOODIE BAGS
DONATIONS DUE AUG 5
We are once again collecting items to fill goodie bags for new teachers at our partner school, Chesterbrook Elementary. To welcome the staff, we will put together gift bags for 10 members of their staff filled with goodies to help get them off to a good start.
How can you help? Donate 10 items to help fill up the bags.
Suggested items:

sharpies, colorful gel pens, pencils
- note pads, notebooks
- self-care items
- Kleenex
- gift cards (Starbucks, Amazon, Target, Grub Hub)
- disinfectants wipes
- magnets
- candy, snacks
- a handwritten note!
If you donate, please consider buying multiples of 10 so that each gift bag will be similar. Feel free to team up with a friend or small group to lighten the load. Please bring your donations to church by Tuesday, August 5th.

WREATH LAYING CEREMONY
VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL

Rev. Chris Miller will deliver the invocation for a wreath laying ceremony in honor of the 47 fallen Marine Corps lieutenants of Basic School 3-67 at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Saturday, 23 August at 10 AM. The half-hour ceremony on the National Mall will be led by Dan Moore. The public is invited, and we welcome all St. Dunstan's parishioners interested in attending this event

Join us at Shrine Mont for our annual parish retreat. Philip Chalk will lead the weekend by exploring, “What Anglicans Believe: A short summary in 3 sessions.”
