TIme for Tools

We are grateful that the major garden areas and "the pit" have been adopted! HOWEVER, we need basic garden tools to support our parishioner volunteers as well as occasional comunity service and other workers who lend us a hand. If you have any grass clippers, tree/shrub clippers, tarps, rakes, mowers, hedge trimmers, trowels, etc. that are in generally good shape, we could sure use them to keep up with the outside work. The Coat will collect them and help find a place to store them. Thanks for checking your garage or shed!

P.S. We are still looking for volunteer gardeners to adopt an area or help on a gardening work party.

The Food Bank is in need

of wrapped bars of soap, please.

Bible Study

Wednesdays at 6:30pm (following the 5:30pm service) in the ECW Room. Anyone who is interested in studying the scriptures is invited to attend. Topics are selected by the participants—sometimes we choose a full book of the Bible, sometimes we focus on themes or ideas and trace them to different sections of the scriptures. Come and experience God’s living word!

Help Wanted – Altar Guild

St James Altar Guild is looking for new/returning members! The duties are not strenuous but are important as members prepare the sanctuary for worship services. They also decorate the nave for special services. If you are an 8 o’clocker and are interested, you will be accommodated as well! Please see Rev. Peter or Shirley Ayers if you have questions or are interested in becoming a member.

Spring Into Action and Rid Your Home Of Unneeded Extras!

The Coat of Many Colors and the Kitchen Ministry will be happy to receive them. We especially need sneakers and flip flops this season.(Please - new and gently used items only!) Happy Spring and thanks to all!
