From Fr. Joél Muñoz's Desk

Beloved in Christ,

As we continue through this season of stewardship, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your generosity. Thank you for the pledges you have made, and for the many gifts of time, talent, and treasure you continue to offer to our parish community. Your faithfulness is a true blessing, and it reflects the deep love and commitment that make St. Michael’s such a vibrant and grace-filled church.

This year’s stewardship campaign carries particular significance as we prepare for the transition from an interim rector to your new priest-in-charge. Your pledges are more than numbers—they are signs of hope, stability, and shared purpose. They allow us to plan responsibly and faithfully for the year ahead, supporting key areas such as:

  • Worship and spiritual formation programs
  • Outreach and community ministries
  • Staffing and pastoral leadership
  • Maintenance and stewardship of our sacred space

In this time of change, your commitment ensures that St. Michael’s remains strong, welcoming, and ready to embrace the future God is preparing for us.

Thank you again for your faithful generosity. May God continue to bless this community, guide our hearts, and inspire our shared ministry at St. Michael’s.

In Christ’s peace,

The Rev. Dr. Joél Muñoz

Interim Rector, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church

Meet our incoming vestry members

Senior Warden Bio — Gail Geisler (1-year term)

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Noblesville

Gail Geisler is a long-time and deeply dedicated member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. Over the years, she has faithfully served the parish in many roles, including Vestry member, choir member, Sunday School teacher, and reader. Her commitment to the life and ministries of St. Michael’s has shaped not only her own faith journey, but also the experiences of many families—especially her own.

Gail and her husband Al raised their three children at St. Michael’s, where the parish became a second home during their growing-up years. Today, she delights in being a grandmother to two wonderful grandchildren. A proud and “happy Lilly retiree,” Gail enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and settling in with a good book.

As she steps into the role of Senior Warden, Gail brings a spirit of gratitude, steadiness, and hope for the year ahead. She looks forward to walking with the parish community as together we discover where our faith will lead us next.

Vestry Member Bio — Joseph “Joe” Gabrielli

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Noblesville

Joe Gabrielli was raised in the Roman Catholic tradition throughout his school years and later found a spiritual home in the Episcopal Church. Drawn to its balance of ancient tradition and thoughtful openness, Joe joined St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in the autumn of 2022.

Joe and his wife, Joan, have been married for more than forty-seven years and are the proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to three wonderful grandchildren. After a long career in advanced machining, Joe retired in the spring of 2024. He also brings valuable financial expertise, having previously served as treasurer and financial secretary for the Knights of Columbus in Charlotte, North Carolina.

At St. Michael’s, Joe currently serves as an acolyte and is grateful for the opportunity to support the parish’s worship life and community. His decision to volunteer for Vestry service reflects his commitment to strengthening the parish and offering steadfast support to our new rector.

Joe looks forward to serving faithfully and helping St. Michael’s continue to grow in spirit, mission, and fellowship.
