MEN'S EVENT - SAVE THE DATE!

October 8

Join us at Trinity on Fifth for an evening just for men! We will gather on Thursday, October 8, from 6-8PM in the Family Life Center. There you can enjoy dinner, connect with other men, and hear from RJ Sumrall, a former Iowa State wide receiver and current Area Director with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

RJ will share how God used sports to reach him and how that calling has come full circle as he now serves coaches and student athletes. Dinner is included, so bring a friend and come be encouraged!

CARING HANDS

Caring Hands is in need of some volunteers to help with hanging clothes in their thrift shop, and they could really use the help as soon as possible through next week.

The great thing is that you can volunteer anytime during their thrift shop hours, so you can choose a time that works for you. There is no need to register ahead of time—you can simply walk in and let them know you're there to help, or you can call Caring Hands ahead of time to set up a time.

Leah is the contact person if you have any questions or would like to coordinate a time.

If you have a little time available this week or next, this would be a great way to lend a hand and help Caring Hands keep things moving!

JOIN A SMALL GROUP

Teach Us to Pray is a six-week small-group study centered on the Lord’s Prayer and our weekly Sunday sermons. Together, we’ll discover what Jesus intended to teach us about prayer—including how to connect with God, recognize His greatness, surrender to His will, depend on Him, receive and extend forgiveness, and rely on His strength as we face the many temptations of this world.
